The goal is to preserve the city's rich historical and cultural legacy for future generations. Despite the challenges of urbanization and development, paucity of funds and lack of public awareness and engagement, ongoing projects and initiatives continue to work towards preserving the city's rich historical and cultural legacy backed by policy framework, awareness programs, educational institutions and organisational and people's endeavours.
