
CENTRAL, STATE & PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES

Delhi, the capital city of India, is a prominent educational hub. These institutions can be broadly categorized into central, state, and private universities, each contributing uniquely to the academic landscape. The central, state, and private universities in Delhi collectively create a rich and diverse educational ecosystem. Central Universities include University of Delhi (DU)​, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)​, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)​ and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)​.
